What I Do
Anitha focuses on designing and documenting impactful civic projects, including fire stations, public buildings, and police stations. Her prior experience spans healthcare architecture, where she gained valuable expertise across all project phases—conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation. Additionally, Anitha's work on residential projects provided the opportunity to collaborate closely with clients, deepening her understanding of client needs and expectation
Who I Am
How does your design process work?
I would like to first understand what the need of the client is and what is the output expectation of theirs and based on which we can come to a middle ground in order to start the conceptual development then get into design development, refinement, Documentation and construction phase.
Which strategies do you use to optimize cost/material savings?
I work in the conceptional phase which is more like a design phase and then get into construction drawings which is more detailed version of the drawings, also getting into permitting drawings, construction phase drawings like coordinating with the site.
What is your architectural preferred style to work within?
I don't really disclaim myself for following one style but I do prefer modern architecture 90% of the times and having added on additional styles and design concepts like Sustainable design, green design etc.
Are there any aspects of architecture that you use to optimize cost/material savings?
Using local materials would save a lot of money and help optimize costing in materials and construction timeline as well.
