What I Do

Jim strives to design facilities that unify municipalities and residents, enhancing efficiencies and respecting the taxpayer. His experience with municipalities includes Long Range Planning, Space Needs Studies and Feasibility Studies, along with New Facilities, Renovations, and Additions. Jim listens carefully to the client’s needs and understands the delicate balance between budgetary concerns, function and aesthetics; designing dynamic, sustainable and productive municipal facilities. He has developed a national reputation for his expertise in the design of Police & Fire Stations, and for his work on Public Safety Training Facilities.

The decisions we make in the design, layout and material and systems choices all have some form of lasting impact on the environment, whether it is energy or water savings, greenfield vs brownfield development or site storm water run-off to locally sourced materials, each of these has its own impact.

Where ever I am, as long as there is land and a tractor. A horse is nice, also.
