Columbia SC Christus Victor Lutheran Church

Christus Victor Lutheran Church hired Stewart Cooper Newell to help them master plan their entire campus and facilities. The master plan included not only planning for the future growth of the church but also evaluating the way the current spaces are utilized. After extensive programming and budget review, the church decided to break the master plan into two phases of work. Phase I construction will be completed in the summer of 2004. Phase I work includes a large Classroom building addition onto the existing structures.

The Classroom wing will include a large youth room with separate entrance, many classrooms, offices, work rooms, choir room, storage, conference room, and new restrooms. Phase I work will also include expanded parking, repaving, drainage improvements, and changes to traffic flow. Phase II work in the future will provide the church with a new sanctuary, covered drop-off area, expanded kitchen and renovated fellowship hall.
