Property Description
Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects partnered with local firm and Architect of Record, CTA Architects, to develop the concept and Schematic Design for the Evergreen Fire Department’s new facility. Project delivery method was Construction Manager at Risk.
This station replaced the fire district’s original facility, which was built in 1957 on the same site. Designed and built to last for a century, the new station includes five apparatus bays with 14’-0” doors, a 70-seat community room, staff offices, on-site sleeping and bathing facilities, a training mezzanine for year-round activities and a dayroom for firefighters.
The design also addresses important environmental concerns. The facility has a vehicle exhaust system in the apparatus bays and code-approved interior drainage systems.
