Gaston County NC Department of Social Services Facility

The Department of Social Services facility, at a size of approximately 127,890 SF, consolidates all of the Social Services offices and functions that were previously scattered across various buildings throughout Gaston County.

This DSS facility, along with the County Courthouse, Sheriff’s Office and County Jail, were all designed by Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects and were constructed simultaneously. Upon completion, together, the facilities formed the Gaston County Governmental Complex.
