Property Description
Lincoln County EMS had occupied “make-shift” facilities since its formation. In order to provide a centralized location for the EMS, the County set aside property within a County campus that already housed the Sheriff’s Department, Jail, and Animal Control Center. In order to meet the limited project budget, the facility was designed as a pre-engineered structure, yet finished with the same architectural details of the adjacent facilities. All public, private, and apparatus needs are met in the simple and functional floor plan.
The EMS facility had obvious training/meeting space needs as part of their program. Since the new facility is immediately adjacent to other County departments, an attached yet separate training room with public toilets was designed. This allows other groups the use of the training room without having access to the remainder of the facility.
